๐๐ฆ๐จ๐จ๐บ ๐๐ถ๐จ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐ฎ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฏ celebrates her formative years in the United Kingdom and her pioneering London gallery, Guggenheim Jeune (1938โ1939). The gallery became a beacon of the European avant-garde, championing abstraction and Surrealism at a decisive historical moment.
With the help of figures such as Samuel Beckett, Marcel Duchamp, and Mary Reynolds, Guggenheim forged a groundbreaking program for Guggenheim Jeune that would help define her legacy. The gallery hosted more than twenty exhibitions, including Vasily Kandinskyโs first solo show in the UK. At that time Guggenheim also made her first acquisition, a Brancusi sculpture, signaling the beginning of the collection that would become celebrated worldwide.
The exhibition travels to the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and Guggenheim New York
