Jean Wilcox, a graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, was assistant manager in the renowned graphic design department of The MIT Press before launching Wilcox Design in 2000. She and her associates enjoy working with clients from varied professional fields to create compelling print and web-based publications that meet schedules, budgets, and expectations. Jean’s design work has been recognized with awards and citations from leading graphic arts organizations and design publications.

When collaborating with clients on a book project, Wilcox Design is ever mindful of the respect traditionally afforded the printed word. Books have been the primary tool for teaching and learning: they inform, stimulate, enlighten, and entertain. Jean’s insightful designs help publishers and authors communicate often complex ideas through considered interactions of texts and images, enabling readers to better understand and appreciate their world.
